Direct Boot is a family business that was first established in 1965. Our original location was at 810 Hertford Road in Enfield, London where we primarily sold Tuff & Dr Martens Boots. In 1969 the area was redeveloped, which meant this shop became part of a Compulsory Purchase Order. Having nowhere from which to trade naturally caused us big problem... s, as shop premises were like gold dust in those days. However we were fortunate enough to find new premises at 810 Hertford Road, which meant we were back in business! In 1999 the family business decided to take a change in direction. We invested in larger premises at 864-866 Hertford Road and with the extra space, we added clothing to our broadening product range. Along with this, we also purchased our first embroidery machines and began embroidering customer's logos in-store while our customers waited. This was a very popular service, as it is today. There is a minimum of waiting time and no minimum orders levels so this was an immediate hit with the many local small businesses. Today, we use only the latest in digital embroidery technology, which has enabled us to significantly increase our capacity and provide even faster turnaround times to our loyal and growing customer base. Having grown into the successful retail and ecommerce business, we believe the secret to our continued success is down to our fast and efficient service, our broad range of high quality products, and our great prices.
