Hi, and welcome to our website. My name is Diane Azzopardi and I am the principal and owner of Direct Accounting. Direct Accounting is a Chartered Accountancy Firm and we have operated out of the Penrith CBD since November 2001. As a Chartered Accountant, I have worked in the profession for over 20 years and have owned this practice since 2001. I q... ualified with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Western Sydney. I am a Registered Tax Agent and a Justice of the Peace. I currently hold memberships with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAA), the Tax Institute and the National Tax and Accountants' Association (NTAA). I believe in being involved in the local community and as such, contribute as a Director of the Penrith RSL Club, a Director on the Board of the Penrith Business Advisory Centre, a Board Member of the Nepean Medical Research Foundation, a board member of the Western Sydney Parklands Trust and I participate in the NSW Government Business Mentoring Program (Young Entrepreneur - Penrith). In 2005 it was a highlight for me to be a finalist in the Sydney Business Review Business Woman of the Year Awards.
