The necklace is perfect, and on the back, she engraved the date and then the initial of the print's owner on the corresponding side so that the recipient would know which print belongs to which grandparent. I am a manager who retired from a job I loved due to a cancer diagnosis that left me with an uncertain future. Thanks to the help and love from my husband and 3 wonderful friends, I turned to art to heal, and silver metal clay became my artistic medium of choice. Each design is designed and drawn to our customer's specifications. We then form a polymer molding clay model to gauge the structure of the piece. Once we are confident the design is sound, we create the silver piece, adding texture and sanding/ smoothing the dried clay. The piece is then fired in a kiln, after which we buff and polish...all by hand. Working only with sterling and fine silver, we add adornments using genuine pearls & fine glass/crystal beads, or we set natural stones or CZs into the piece.
