When I looked around the room, I could tell that phrase resonated with many people there. In fact, my friend John Conley wrote a blog post about that very quote from the event. Obama's team had struggled with communicating the iterative nature of their work within a campaign structure that was used to making banners that were final, speeches that were perfect, and tv ads that were done. DigitalLearn.org will never be perfect, it will never be done, and it will never be final. The web, and software as a whole, is iterative by its nature, versions and parts come and go over time. It has to be that way in order to stay relevant in these times of constant change. We may only have a small sample of one piece of the site ready to go today, but it is a start, and it is a start we can learn from. As of today, the site has three of the self-directed classes we are creating for end-users: Using a PC (Windows 7), Intro to Email, and Basic Search.
