Barry's first few months in PE was mainly involved in educating a brand new market of potential customers and basically exposing this emerging market to brand new technology never before witnessed in the Eastern Cape - DPI made headlines in the business section of the Weekend Post in September 1996 with an in depth article accompanied by a large photograph of the DPI team posing with the new Novapro large format printer. Life was obviously not a bed of roses in a brand new market and 3 years of endless marketing combined with guts and perseverance followed before and semblance of a thriving business was apparent. Today some 11 years later, DPI has grown from strength to strength and remains the leading large format printer in the Eastern Cape with a number of the latest large format printers producing superb quality at competitive prices.
