Digital Leisure Inc. is a Canadian developer and self-publisher of video game software. The company formed in 1997 with the notion to remaster and publish numerous classic arcade games such as the Dragon's Lair Trilogy and the American Laser Games series of action shooters. Since the company's creation, these titles have been developed for a variet... y of console platforms. From these humble beginnings, Digital Leisure has been involved in the development and self-publishing of over twenty-five titles across a variety of consoles including: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, iOS and Android. In 2010, Digital Leisure began development for Sony's PlayStation®Network releasing the 'Dragon's Lair' trilogy of games and arcade classic 'Fast Draw Showdown' utilizing the new PlayStation®Move control system. Continuing with the success on the PlayStation®3, the company launched an online multiplayer casino property for PlayStation®Home, a real-time 3D avatar based world. Since its release in Q1 2012 for the North American and European audiences, the property has been number one selling destination in both regions. With the success of the classic gaming titles on PSN, Digital Leisure released three more American Laser Games classic on PSN - Mad Dog McCree, Mad Dog 2: The Lost Gold and The Last Bounty Hunter. In March 2012 it was made public that Digital Leisure and Microsoft Studios had teamed up to create an all-new Kinect integrated experience for 'Dragon's Lair' - one of the most beloved arcade games of all time. The version employs use of both the controller and Kinect, a rarity for the platform. The game also integrates a variety of exciting gestures, incorporates photo share and adds an entertaining co-op mode. Dragon's Lair Kinect released in May 2012 and over 50,000 units have sold since its release.
