With thirty-five years as a professional musician, Singer/Vocal Coach Diane McNaron has appeared throughout the US, Europe and Australia in jazz, cabaret, opera and oratorio. As a vocal coach, she has taught at several universities in the US and abroad, has a Master of Music degree and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Upon returning to her native Birmingham, AL in the 90s, Diane began working with beginning singers and is especially dedicated to community musicians & young voices. With coaching skills in four languages, she also prepares more advanced students for national competitions and has students on the national/international professional scene. As a jazz singer, performing Cabaret Artiste and producer, she is highly skilled in teaching a variety of techniques and styles including the Broadway Belt, Mix and Legit styles. Having released two CDs, one Music Theatre and the other Art Song, Diane McNaron is Birmingham's most experienced and versatile Singer/Vocal Coach.
