DHA Housing Solutions is a North Texas-based affordable housing provider serving seven counties with a mission to deliver safe, quality housing and supportive resources to low-income families. With more than 80 years of operational history, DHA was established by the City of Dallas following the passage of the federal Housing Act, which authorized... local housing agencies to improve living conditions for economically disadvantaged residents. The organization pioneered significant developments in the region, including Cedar Springs Place, the first public housing development west of the Mississippi River, constructed with Works Progress Administration funds during the New Deal era.
