Developmental Fitness

Developmental Fitness Company was founded by Sean Hanley in 1997 with the vision that those with developmental disabilities can improve their over-all well being through physical fitness training. During his fourteen years coaching special athletes and nine years working in a residential program, Sean found that those with disabilities could benefi... t from inclusive exercise programs. Our company embraces values of INCLUSION, DIRECTION, COMPASSION, AND CHALLENGE. Our ends are "to develop mental fitness. Exercise and wellness programming is the means. Developmental Fitness Company works throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania with several wellness facilities providing one-on- one training for those with developmental disabilities. Currently, Developmental Fitness Company works with all ages and all disabilities. We are an approved provider for the Office of Mental Retardation of Montgomery County as well as the first fitness company to provide these services strictly to this population. We have produced an exercise video for those with special needs with a special needs leader. We sponsor programs for special athletes and individuals.
