Devatha Fabrics has been a pioneer in every facet of the silk industry right from setting up silk mills to branding of silk sarees and diversifying into other product lines. In the late 90's, it's director, Mr. Pradeep Devatha had a vision of branding silk sarees, a concept that was unheard of in the textile industry in that period. He introduced s... ilk sarees under the brand name "Peacock Silks. Peacock silks received wide popularity all over India, South East Asia, North America and also parts of Europe. In the year 2009, Devatha Fabrics took a giant leap in its product line. With vast experience in the silk industry and branding he saw a huge potential in the men's wear space and decided to grab this opportunity. He realised that there was no other brand that produced fine quality men's wear in pure silk for festive occasions. With sharp foresight so true to the Devatha blood brought about the diversification, emergence of the brand Mark Anderson. Mark Anderson introduced a range of shirts and kurtas made from the finest silk fabric. It gives an opportunity for every man to wear the rich silk fabric for many occasions such as marriages, festivals, and other occasions. Keeping this in mind, the tagline "Life is an Occasion" was coined. Mark Anderson has the approval of the Silk Mark Organisation on India and thus all the products carry with it the "Silk Mark" tag authenticating the use of silk fabric in it's product range. With increasing demand and recognition for men's ethnic wear in the market, it became very relevant to focus on the needs for every young man in the society which led to the birth of the brand label - Tattva by Mark Anderson.
