Designer Surfaces was founded in July of 1990 by two brothers with a focus on bringing the highest level of quality control to the countertop manufacturing and purchasing process. Over the years, DSU worked with several universities and engineers to create a process that yields unparalleled quality in our finished product and customer service. The... desire for improving the process was driven by the brother's service in the US Navy. In the service, both brothers worked as Hospital Corpsmen and provided healthcare for fellow servicemen in an environment that demanded a high level of attention to detail.
