Designcraft Pty Ltd was founded in 1991 as a small furniture and joinery company in a rented 350sqm workshop in Queanbeyan NSW, Australia. At this time the economy was in recession, however we had faith in our abilities and the future of our company. That faith began with a commitment to manufacture quality product at a fair price, and to establish... a level of customer service that was second to none. During those first challenging years we undertook an extremely broad range of jobs, manufacturing a variety of furniture and joinery items. We were fortunate to attract and have retained a core group of committed and skilled staff who have worked hard to establish a reputation for quality work. It was not long before we outgrew the space and relocated into a new workshop at 90 Bayldon Road, Queanbeyan, NSW, in 1997. Later that year we set up our first commercial furniture showroom in Fyshwick, ACT. In 2000 we set up a second workshop so that we could meet the demands of our increased workload. In 2004, after four years of planning and construction, we moved into our new purpose built factory and showroom, bringing together both parts of the business under one roof. It allowed us to bring together manufacturing and retail that sets a new standard in the commercial and high end residential market. Designcraft has grown to become an award winning Canberra based company specialising in furniture, joinery and showcases. Over the years we have acquired a depth of knowledge, experience and expertise which has enabled us to take on an enormous variety of complex and challenging jobs both nationally and internationally.
