Denmar Pump Services was founded in 2002 as a small pump repair house with a focus on the remanufacturing of high energy boiler feed pumps. Denmar quickly developed a reputation with their customers in New England for unparalleled quality and service. In order to accommodate a growing customer base and an increased work load Denmar installed additi... onal equipment and multiplied their work force. In 2005 Mark Trahan gained sole proprietorship and put in motion his vision for the future. Starting in 2006 with the development of an engineering department, Denmar could then provide documented engineered solutions and expand upon their capabilities. Rapid growth continued into the Northeast region and in 2011 Denmar brought on a Director of Business Development to coordinate their efforts. In 2012 Denmar put additional resources into the engineering department acquiring the most advanced technologies and software giving them the ability to reverse engineer worn out or obsolete pump parts. After repeated requests from their Southern customers in early 2014 Denmar hired a Southeast Regional Sales Manager to provide local service and support. In late 2014 DPS acquired the 40,000 square foot facility formally known as the New England Repair Center in Walpole, MA. This facility allowed for increased crane capacity, additional machinery, workforce and the inclusion of a small pump cell.
