DEMO conducts research for the European Union, research institutes and government agencies. Much research focuses on sustainable development, energy saving and the combination of technologies with socioeconomic factors. Usually, for large-scale research, universities and colleagues-consultants work together within a research consortium. DEMO has ex... tensive experience with the European Union Framework Programs and with Dutch research projects, financed from the government's top sectoral policy (TKI). Examples of our recent involvement in European research as a leading partner are: MobistyleAs a consortium partner, we kicked off the EU Mobistyle project (EU Horizon1996) at the end of 2016. The overall aim of MOBISTYLE is to raise consumer awareness and motivate behavioural change by providing attractive personalized combined knowledge services on energy use, indoor environment, health and lifestyle, by ICT-based solutions. Within this two-year project, a tool-set to improve buildings and small districts energy efficiency through integrated new tools and methodologies of inspection, modelling, monitoring, simulation, management and refurbishment advising will be commercialized.
