Deerwoods is a full service real estate and property management company located in central Denver, Colorado. Founded in January 2003, Deerwoods began operations with 10 residential properties under management. Over the past 12 years Deerwoods has grown to manage: 100 residential properties; 45 multi-unit apartment buildings with a total of over 100... 0 units; more than 150,000 sq ft of industrial warehouse space, retail centers and two multi-tenant trucking terminals covering 28 acres. Deerwoods was founded and still owned by John Smidt (B.S. in Business, Colorado State University 2000) and Bryan Piesczak (B.S. in Commerce DePaul University 1990). John has been a Licensed Real Estate Broker since 2003, and currently a member of the Denver Board of Realtors and a member of the Apartment Association of Metro Denver. Bryan was formerly a contractor and construction superintendant and has 25 years experience in the construction trades. Deerwoods has also served as consultants (construction management, property management, branding) on a 118 unit complex and a 130 unit complex, both within walking distance of the Fitzsimmons area Hospital in Denver and Aurora, CO. Over the past 12 years, Deerwoods has completed the renovation of several industrial buildings, multi-family apartment buildings, tenant improvement projects in commercial strip malls and offices in addition to dozens of rental homes and "flips".
