After attending college for Information Technology in California, Doug and his wife moved back to Montrose where he now lives with their four children In 2002, Doug attended COMDEX in Las Vegas, NV and heard Bill Gates speak about new technologies on the horizon. In his speech, Gates mentioned that the company continue to live in a deeply digital world. This phrase clicked in Dougs mind and spurred the creation of the Deeply Digital brand. In 2012, Doug and colleague of Deeply Digital, Jason Cook, recognized the struggles of poor internet connectivity options in Montrose and the surrounding areas.
