Deen Network

We execute fundraising events and hold community projects, based on the needs of individuals in the community, with the aim of empowering and supporting them to become positive and proactive members of society. Even though all our work is based around charitiable work, Deen Network is not a registered charity. We support individuals from all backgr... ounds, at a local and international level. We are not affiliated to, nor funded by any other organisation or group. Uniquely, all our event and project costs are met by donations of items in kind, such as free printing and free loan of equipment, and from sponsorship. Our main resources for the day to day running of DN are donated in kind by the Directors. We distribute what is left over after an event or project, or keep it in store for future activities. We collect items in kind and sponsorship at the time of doing an event or project, so this mean we don't have a large surplus of items or money in the bank! We encourage community members to become proactive members of society, by helping them identify gaps in their needs and equipping them with the skills to fill those gaps, through community based projects. Our projects are set-up taking into consideration current needs of the community; hence DN will be conducting different events and projects in years to come. We rely solely on volunteer support, which means our projects are short-term and mostly recurring. Our fundraising events take place when a cause requires supporting; such as the 3 Peaks Walk, for Cancer Research UK, and the collection of money, in addition to the cake sale for the Pakistan Floods. Volunteers have the freedom to take part in just one project or event, and the chance to acquire new skills, make new friends and have fun!
