About Decorative Arts Center

I've been painting houses in Northern Virginia for over 15 years. In response to the demand for more and more decorative finishes by my customers, I enrolled in a faux painting course at the Decorative Arts Center in St. Louis, Missouri in 2004. While there, I learned to perfect techniques that I had already been using, in addition to bolstering my portfolio with many new finishes. I thoroughly enjoy the art of painting and take great pride that my work is on display daily in many houses in the Washington, DC area. I believe painting is the single most cost-effective way to transform the interior of a house. But why not take your house one step further and make it look amazing by adding a faux finish, stripes or a pattern to your walls? I can recreate any paint job you've seen here, in a model house, on Pinterest, on a website or in a magazine! Unlike many other painters out there that claim to offer faux finishes, faux painting is the only service I provide! While other painters offerRead more

Unlike many other painters out there that claim to offer faux finishes, faux painting is the only service I provide! While other painters offer services such as power washing, wallpapering, or even gutter cleaning, I concentrate 100% on making beautiful decorative finishes in your home or business. I don't use any brand of paint or faux finish product exclusively, which translates into a quicker turnaround time on jobs and more flexibility in terms of color choice for the customer.
