My passion for decor and design has guided me in the path of designing homes and offices. Originally starting out in nursing for the past 30 years and with flexible hours, it has afforded me time for my passion, artistic painting of rooms and furniture. Designs by Debijo, my creative art business, was very successful for 11 years with artwork and f... urniture in the United States, England, Canada and Korea. Expanding to renovation with area contractors, Ive been able to design high end kitchens and baths in the DC Metro area, as well as working on a ski home in Seven Springs, PA, a corporate retreat in West Virginia, as well as homes in New York, Florida and Texas. With my design background as well as my nursing, I have become a specialist in Aging in Place, working with baby boomers in renovating homes with functional, high end design. My belief is that you can have a functional space without losing the beauty and that no one should ever have to leave their home out of necessity.
