DealAnalytics.com was founded in 1999 by Scott W. Keller. Mr. Keller and a staff of analysts update our site throughout each trading day. Prior to forming DealAnalytics.com, Mr. Keller launched Guard Hill Capital, a merger arbitrage hedge fund, in 1995. The fund was the top-ranked event-driven fund for the period 1998 through 2000 in terms of risk-adjusted, non-correlated total return (MAR/Hedge, April 2000), and ranked 17th out of 592 total hedge funds globally. Before founding Guard Hill Capital, Mr. Keller had ten years of experience as a Managing Director and head of proprietary arbitrage and distressed securities trading for two major Wall Street investment banks, Kidder, Peabody and Bankers Trust/Deutsche Bank (1987-1994). Mr. Keller began his career as an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions department of Oppenheimer & Co. in 1985. He graduated with Highest Honors from Duke University, the Columbia University School of Law and received an MBA in Finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business in 1985.
