Established in 1990. I do Installation, Service, and Repair of water heaters, faucets, toilets, water filters, gas seismic safety valves, tankless water heaters, and also perform drain cleaning, whirlpool tub service, drain repair, gas piping, and water piping repair and installation. My goal is to provide a consistently high level of service, base... d in careful analysis of the issues and problems, clear communication, and careful execution of the work required. I acquired my license at the encouragement of my first employer, Bright Winn, founder of Bright Plumbing in San Francisco, for whom I worked 11 years. I went on to work 8 years for Mike Lipsey, owner of Lipsey/Mill Valley Plumbing, while serving a small but growing Daystar clientele as well. The closing of Lipsey/Mill Valley Plumbing in 2000 was the impetus to operate Daystar Plumbing full-time, continuing to serve Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo Counties as I had with Lipsey/Mill Valley Plumbing, and to continue warranty work with Kohler Co., Bosch/AquaStar, and others. I am grateful to both men for the invaluable experience and insight I gained from them. I brought my fully-stocked Daystar van to serve Mike's clients, easily swapping magnetic signs for the two businesses as needed.
