Darrick Wood School

Darrick Wood is a school which attracts and retains excellent staff. Last term had to say goodbye to some staff who have been at the School for many years. We would especially like to thank those who are retiring. These include Mr Winter (Achievement Co-ordinator), Mrs Tysall (History), Mrs Briggs (French), Mrs Beardall (German). Last term also saw... the retirement of our Site Manager, Mr Payton. We wish them all the very best for the future and thank them for their service to the School. Several other members of staff left in the summer having served the School well for a number of years. Mrs Riddle and Mr Carr leave us to for promotion as Assistant Head Teachers in other schools. Best wishes for the future also go to Mr Adams, Mr Biggart, Miss Davis, Miss Hey, Mrs Napier, Mr Obare, Miss Pentecost-Haslem, Miss Sivyer and Miss Willcock. This term we welcome the following new teachers: Mr Ellahee (IT), Mrs Black (Drama), Mr Clarke (Languages), Mr Eynon (Assistant Head Teacher), Mrs Enstone (English).
