Dana Seilhan

My name is Dana Seilhan. This is my birth name, not my married name (Im divorced anyway), and as far as I know I am the only one on the planet. It looks like there is also a Dana Seilhanova, probably in Kazakhstan, where for some inexplicable reason there are more Seilhans than anywhere else on the planet except France (the most) and the United Sta... tes (the second-most) though sometimes, as Ive pointed out, it has an -ova tacked on the end. I used to wonder if a Seilhan was in Napoleons army and then deserted when that marched to Russia, but then I looked at a map and the geographys all wrong. It is a family mystery I would love to solve. Theres a town called Seilhan in France, too, which has had Seilhans for mayors from time to time. I hope to visit it someday. Its in the southwest of the country, almost in the Pyrenees, not far from Toulouse where I also had some distant relatives living, not sure if I still do now. Usually on these sorts of homepages people make a big deal about their career. I really dont have one. Employment was always about paying bills for me, and Im pretty sure thats all it will be for the foreseeable future. Nothing I like to do ever makes much money. But I seem to have a magnet for writers, visual artists, and intellectuals, and I am not sure what that says about someone who only has a high school diploma.
