Dana Airlines Limited has announced that it will commence operations to the city of Port Harcourt in the week beginning September 14, 2009. This brings to five the total number of cities currently serviced by the airline within ten months of its operations; Abuja, Enugu, Kano and Lagos being the other cities. "The company feel very proud that within ten (10) months of operations the company has been able to bring the company's world class services to five (5) major destinations across the country, and the company look forward to expanding the company's operations even further, covering more local and regional destinations." Mr. Hathiramani said that the airline which currently operates 18 daily flights on all routes will operate a return flight to Port Harcourt daily, from its operational base at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2), Lagos. In his words, "From September 14, 2009, the company will operate one daily flight to Port Harcourt at 10:35hrs, with a return flight at 12:15hrs; flight frequencies on the route will be increased with time."
