Dams International

Dams International is one of the largest companies in the UK Office furniture industry and like any sizeable organisation it has its strengths and weaknesses and is very set in its ways. I would like to think that I am probably the most "hands on" independant Dams dealer in the UK and I get to see these strengths and weaknesses day in and day out.... On the plus side Dams International offers excellent value good quality office furniture which usually offers a very cost effective solution to fitting out an office. On the minus side, Dams International projects can often suffer a few niggles while goods are being supplied and installed. Unfortunately you often only get to find out how just how good your dealer really is if problems present themselves after you have actually placed your order. There are dealers out there that are very slick sales machines but are incredibly difficult to deal with when something goes wrong. I am sure everyone is familar with the frustrations of receiving a "your call is important to us" message while being kept in a telephone queing system for an long period or maybe being promised a call back which never actually materialises. A good dealer will take ownership of any initial problems reported by an end customer and ensure that the problem is logged and dealt with through the appropriate channels in Dams International or alternatively may be able to deal with an issue directly themselves.
