Dale Kooyenga

Dale received his Associates degree from Moraine Valley Community College, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lakeland College, and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Marquette University. In 2001, Dale moved to Milwaukee and became a CPA, where he worked with some of Wisconsins largest manufacturing, health care, financial services, and... non-profit organizations. As a direct result of 9/11, Dale joined the U.S. Army alongside his two brothers. He attended the Armys basic training, Officer Candidate School, and the Military Intelligence Officer Course. Upon graduation Dale was assigned to the Armys Special Operations Command. In 2008, he was called up to service in Iraq and deployed to Baghdad with the 432nd Civil Affairs Battalion. Dale was awarded a Bronze Star for his service. Following his deployment in Iraq, Dale was assigned to support the Defense Intelligence Agency before assuming two Company Command positions. Most recently, Dale was given the honor of commanding Wisconsins first U.S. Army Reserve Counterintelligence/HUMINT Company. In 2010, Dale was elected to represent the 14th District for the Wisconsin State Assembly. He continues to serve as a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve and is the Chief Financial Officer of Stonehouse Water Technologies. He lives in Brookfield with his wife, Jennifer, and their four children.
