About DAKO Construction
The name DAKO originates from the famous Dakeyne Street Lads Club. The club was established in 1907 by Oliver Hind after he renovated the Old Lunatic Asylum Building on Dakeyne Street in Sneinton and was affectionatley known as DAKO. The club was one of the first youth clubs in the country and grew to become one of the largest member organisations in Europe.
