Da Vinci Europe was founded in October 2000 by Willem van Raalte. The reason for this was that nearly all suppliers in the analytical market promised solutions, but offered products. Initially armed only with the concept, the team at Da Vinci Europe convinced some potential customers about the concept and were given the chance to show what they pro... mised. After a series of successful implementations of analytical systems and solutions for sample preparations, the ball started rolling. The market became aware of the possibilities Da Vinci Europe offered for running the analytical laboratory more efficiently. Because a good analytical solution also needs integrated software control, Da Vinci Europe incorporated ControlChrom BV in late 2001. With this completed, a truly complete set of expertise were available for building fully automated sample preparation and robotic systems for the analytical laboratory. Growth in personnel and profitability proves that the philosophy of Da Vinci Europe works. This is also shown by the number of world class instrumentation manufacturers that want to work with Da Vinci Europe. This list of partners includes, Agilent Technologies and Gerstel.
