L&G believes that effective public policy begins with community input. When a community comes together, bett... er plans are developed because issues can be discussed and market-based realities can be understood through education. Not everyone participates, but the opportunity to do so is an important part of effective governance thus making implementation a smoother process. L&G utilizes a wide variety of techniques to ensure the community is engaged. Healthy, effective communication and input from all factions of the community is a great way to build a constituency through planning and community development. CWL Planning was founded in 2009 and is now doing business as L&G Planning with the announcement of a partnership between the firms Principals, Chuck Latini and Paul Gleitz. Our partners have an extensive base of knowledge and combined our expertise creates a full-service consulting practice. In addition to serving our clients, members of our firm are involved in other professional endeavors that increase its expertise base thus its ability to serve a wide variety of clients on a wide variety of issues. As such, we also teach graduate level courses at Rutgers University, and Hunter College, conduct training sessions with professional organizations, participate in professional planning training seminars, graduate level course at Columbia University, in addition to research and publishing.
