About CW Williams
C.W. Williams & Co. is one of the oldest continually run Fire Equipment Dealerships in the eastern U.S. The company's Company is named after its founder, Mr. C.W. Williams. When he started things back in 1957, truck bodies were made of steel and real firefighters did not wear air packs. When Mr. Williams sold the Company to the company's present owners in 1980, the company were still a small Dealership working with customers in about 30 counties in eastern North Carolina. In the late 1980's the Fire Service in North Carolina really started to mature. Over the next few years a lot changed with the company as well. The company moved into a new building in Rocky Mount in 1990. The company increased the levels of apparatus service the company offered including the addition of mobile service. The company started a fire equipment sales division. The company's sales force and other employee needs grew as the areas the company sold in grew.Explore more
