Custom Marine was founded in 2012 by Thomas Bachell. Thomas grew up around carpentry, his father owning a successful woodwork shop. This instilled a hands on mentality from an early age. At 16 he started out as an apprentice for a local marine specialist where he began learning paint application and GRP composite work. With the company's close prox... imity to world leading production motor yacht specialists Sunseeker, and the growing demand for custom paint finishes, contracts were awarded providing the opportunity for Thomas to develop knowledge and experience of factory disciplines and standards. Thomas spent the next decade project managing yacht re-fits, repairs and maintenance work around the globe gaining valuable experience and building an international network. With a wealth of knowledge and experience behind him, a drive for perfection and a desire to go it alone, Custom Marine Limited was born. Since then, Custom Marine has gone from strength to strength and built up a portfolio of over 100 projects ranging from anti fouling to full yacht re-fit with total client satisfaction.
