Cuddlemax began in 2015 when my husband bought me new sewing equipment to help me keep my hands busy while grieving a loss. I made satin-edge baby blankets for all my nieces and nephews, and some friends' babies, too. They quickly became the children's favorite blankie. I even made blankets for the new grandmoms. I was told stories of how much the... children loved their blankets, friends sent me pictures and videos of them snuggling, rubbing their fingers on the smooth satin edge as they fell asleep. I picked up more sewing ideas as the year passed, adding hand towels and aprons to my handmade gifts. A second tragic loss left me wanting nothing more than to be wrapped in a big bear hug.
