CS Associates, Inc. is a consulting structural engineering firm established in 1974, specializing in building design. Our projects include commercial, institutional, and residential buildings which range in magnitude from $500,000 to $250,000,000. We have designed a variety of low-rise and high-rise structural frames utilizing braced frames, moment... resistant frames, shear walls and structural tubes. The materials used on these projects include timber, structural steel, precast concrete, and cast-in-place concrete; conventionally reinforced and post-tensioned. We have in-house computer facilities which enable us to analyze a variety of complex structures using the most current computer programs, i.e.; finite element, three dimensional space frames, shear wall, tube structures, domes and thin shell. We also produce 100% of our drawings through an in-house CAD System. In addition, we have established a reputation with our clients, which include architects, developers, and contractors, for furnishing accurate preliminary framing systems allowing them to establish the most cost effective system for their project.
