We buy our gas from local landowners, and the gas goes directly into pipes owned by National Fuel Gas on its way to your home or business. Crown Energy Services, Inc. and WGRZ-TV Channel 2 have partnered to recognize the individuals who are making a difference with a program called The Great Giveback. To highlight their accomplishments and good deeds in the community, we were pleased to announce that the winner for the month of November of the $1,000 in matching funds to its charitable organization is Greater Buffalo Metropolitan Crime Stoppers. The Greater Buffalo Metropolitan Crime Stoppers is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) public service organization that assists all law enforcement agencies throughout the nine Western New York counties and Ontario, Canada. Buffalo Crime Stoppers mission is to make the surrounding communities safe from violent felons, educate students on crime prevention and remove illegal weapons from our streets. Since 1990, Crime Stoppers tips have resulted in the arrest of 539 individuals wanted for various crimes. These arrests resulted in the solving of 900 crimes, including 31 homicides. We hope to help assist in the protection of our communities by choosing Crime Stoppers as the recipients of this award.
