About CrossRoads
To eliminate sexual violence, child victimization, human trafficking and their effects through confidential counseling, advocacy, child medical treatment, education, and community awareness for adults and children. CrossRoads envisions a world where all survivors of sexual violence, child maltreatment, and human trafficking attain hope and healing, offenders are held accountable, and individuals are empowered to create an atmosphere in their communities where families thrive. CrossRoads was created in 1976 to serve adult survivors of sexual violence. In 1994, our organization grew to provide services to child survivors of sexual violence, which led to the establishment of our Child Advocacy Center (CAC) in 1996. Through our CAC, we added our evidence-based Child Therapy program and our Medical Program. Since 2017, we have added therapy services for our adult clients.
