Crossroads Antiracism Organizing

Crossroads Ministry has three areas that differ from other homes that provide similar opportunities. This makes us unique in our field and is a big plus for moms who seek our help. Our residents will be encouraged to stay at their Crossroads home for at least eighteen months but could stay up to 3 years to become well grounded, go to college, if th... at is their choice, and/or find a job in their field of interest. We already have a veterinarian and landscaping/nursery business willing to take a mom in an entry level position and we will be continuing to find other businesses willing to mentor our moms. One of our goals is to help them find their niche so they will be able to support their child without government assistance. We will be providing a late night emergency single apartment for a mom and baby if they are escorted by a female officer. After leaving Crossroads our former residents and former class attendees will be welcomed back to attend classes that are new, to receive emotional support, or just to visit.
