Crossfire United ECNL

CROSSFIRE UNITED is committed to providing the best coaching possible. Coaches will primarily come from THUSC and Crossfire Oregon although we will bring in other strong local area coaches if we feel they will help the program. How will there be any continuity between the CROSSFIRE UNITED ECNL pool and the THUSC and Crossfire Oregon Reserve pools?... The CROSSFIRE UNITED coach involved with the ECNL pool will then be involved in some capacity (either Head Coach or Assistant Coach) with the Crossfire Oregon or THUSC Reserve team at the same age group. Where will the teams train? The training base will depend on the Head Coach of the age group. Some of the training locations will be Tualatin Hills Rec Center, PCC Rock Creek, Hazelia Field, Tigard HS Turf, and Wilsonville HS. These locations will also serve as the game fields for CROSSFIRE UNITED teams. When will tryouts be? Tryouts for U14 age group will be held in May just prior to regular club tryouts. CROSSFIRE UNITED will form their ECNL pool prior to the finalization of regular club teams so players who do not make the ECNL pool will still have an opportunity to try out for a club team. Tryouts for U15 though U18 ECNL pools will be held in early August just prior to the regular club tryouts again with the purpose of forming pools and informing players so they can make alternative arrangements if they do not make the CROSSFIRE UNITED pool. If I don't make the CROSSFIRE UNITED ECNL pool could I still play in some events with the team? Yes, both THUSC and Crossfire Oregon will have Reserve teams and when the opportunity or need arises we will assess who we think is the best suited player. What is the cost for this program going to be? The exact cost depends on the age group (each age group has a set of conference games to play and then also Regional/National events to attend based on the age group).
