Matt Young founded CriticalPoint Capital in 2012 after spending over 15 years in various executive leadership roles including, most recently, his position as a Principal at Platinum Equity. While a Principal at Platinum Equity, Matt executed dozens of transactions across a wide variety of industries and held board positions with numerous portfolio... companies. During his tenure, Matt also supported Platinums global expansion initiatives by opening a satellite office in Paris where he spent three years. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2001, he worked in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Bear Stearns & Co. and, previously, acted as a Contracting Officer for the United States Air Force where he negotiated the acquisition of multi-billion dollar military satellites, including the Milstar satellite system from Lockheed Martin. Matt is currently serving on the advisory board of Simmons Foods and Point7West. He received his Bachelors Degree in Management from the United States Air Force Academy and Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Southern California. Brad Holtmeier joined CriticalPoint Capital in early 2013 after spending 10 years in various finance roles including, most recently, over eight years in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Platinum Equity. While at Platinum, Brad led complex buy-side, sell-side, and financing transactions in the U.S. and in Europe. In addition, Brad held board positions for several companies in both the U.S. and Europe. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2005, Brad worked as a Senior Credit Officer for the specialty finance company Jules and Associates. Earlier in his career, Brad was an Acquisitions Officer for over five years in the United States Air Force.
