A native of Thomasville Georgia, Allen Cheney moved to Nashville Tennessee in 2009 after graduating from LaGrange College with a double major in Music and Business. He began his career in Nashville writing and producing music, however he quickly became immersed in television and film production. Allen is a partner and co founder at Mountview Creative and oversees day-to-day operations and project development. His team at Mountview produces a wide range of content, from music videos and commercials to documentaries and feature films. In 2014, Allen worked with Larry King to help coordinate a partnership between AARP & Cumulus Radio that would bring Larry back to terrestrial radio five days a week. In addition, Allen produced a feature-length documentary for the Rock & Worship Roadshow tour. Also in 2012, Allen was recognized for his contributions to Robin Williams last feature film "Boulevard." In 2015, Mountview Creative moved its base to Los Angeles, California where Allen co-produced the feature film Some Freaks. The film has won numerous domestic and international film festivals and was released theatrically August 4, 2017. In 2016, Cheney became executive producer of the international feature film, Heartbeats, and assisted with physical production in India.
