Creighton Block Gallery represents highly accomplished artists from Montana and elsewhere in the West. We sell original work only by painters, sculptors and other artisans. Our mission is to support artists and artisans and to foster interaction among accomplished artists, students, and our community. The gallery is located in Big Sky Town Center,... MT and showcases fine art (western, contemporary and unique) sculpture and unusual pieces of art. We are located at 88 Ousel Falls Road Unit A and Unit C on either side of PureWest Real Estate under the Clock Tower. Owners, Colin Mathews and Paula Craver have lived in Virginia City for the past 18 years and still own a gallery there in an 1867 stone building that is on the National Historic Register. Colin was Mayor of Virginia City for four years, served on the Montana Heritage Commission for four years, and was recently re-appointed to another term. He also served on the Madison County Economic Development Council for 10 years. The Mathews decided to move to Big Sky because of the exciting energy emerging in Big Sky and the enormous cultural potential here. They look forward to contributing to the realization of Big Sky Town Centers commercial and cultural goals, and to becoming involved in the life of this marvelous community.
