Creative Music Adventures

Creative Music Adventures is one of the premier music schools in the Northwest. Located in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle, CMA provides individual and group lessons, jazz combos, rock bands and summer camps for students of all ages and levels of experience. CMA was founded in 2003 by local musician Michael Stegner. Guided by his belief tha... t students would respond to lessons that were broader than the traditional teaching methods, Michael had a long-term vision of teaching that incorporated group and individual lessons, improvisation, reading, composing and playing several styles of music, each at the highest possible level. What started out as a small community of 10 students in his basement quickly grew into a full-fledged school that now teaches lessons to more than 150 students/week. Over the years several of the most accomplished musicians in the Northwest have joined the faculty at CMA, each placing their own unique stamps on the original vision. Our teachers at CMA are some of the highest-caliber players in the local area working directly with students.
