Head coach and Crantock Bay Surf School owner Rob, 43, has 20 years of coaching experience and 35 years of surfing behind him. Originally from Perranporth Rob remembers surfing at Crantock Beach when he was learning. A professional surfer for many years Rob is still extremely active as a sponsored rider and specializes in big wave surfing, stand up paddle surfing and adventure travel surfing. He is a member of Fanatics international surf and SUP team and remains as passionate about surf sports as ever. An International Surfing Association surf and stand up paddle instructor and RSLS beach lifeguard Rob believes in giving high quality, effective and fun tuition, be it your first day surfing or working on improving specific elements of your surfing. At Crantock Bay Surf School Rob works with a higher instructor to student ratio than many surf schools to ensure that everyone on the beach has the best possible experience as safely as possible.
