Karen Hulme Alegi, Esq. is a founding partner of Covenant Title & Escrow, LLC. Her current practices include estate planning, litigation and real estate. Attorney Alegi's legal experience in real estate transactions allows her to assist sellers, buyers and our realtor partners with their commercial or residential real estate matters. In addition to real estate transactions and settlements, over the last decade she has worked in a range of practices, including family law, domestic violence advocacy with The Women's Law Center as well as appellate practice in both state and federal courts. Attorney Alegi was recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star from 2012 to 2016, is the current Co-Chair of the BAMC Lawyer Assistance Committee, and also serves on Peer Review Panels for the Attorney Grievance Commission. She also serves on the Board of Trustees and is Treasurer of her church in Germantown. Attorney Alegi is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia (inactive), earned her B.A., cum laude, from West Chester University in Pennsylvania, and J.D., cum laude, from The Catholic University of America. Jodi Anderson, Esq., LL.M. is a litigation attorney with experience in state and federal courts and partner at Alegi Anderson, LLC.
