Dewayne Osburn chose heating, ventilation, air conditioning, & refrigeration as his career while he was still in high school in the early 2010s. Always having a natural mechanical talent, he was one of the top in his class. While completing further training at a local technical college, Dewayne began working for one of the largest heating and air companies in Birmingham, where he stayed for almost 10 years learning more every day and eventually earning national recognition as a top technician and salesman. The desire to open his own business had been building for quite some time as he tried unsuccessfully to find an employer with the same values and commitment he wanted to be evident in his life and work. Frustrated by the impersonal nature and bottom-line-only focus of a large company, and wanting to be able to promise service that was in the best interest of the customer, he founded Covenant Heating & Cooling, LLC in early 2014. Paramount in the decision to begin this new venture was the desire to treat people as he wanted to be treated.
