Courtyard Care Limited is a private limited company formed in 2002 by two equal share holders, Mr Colin Gallimore and Mr Jack Meredith. Colin has thirty years experience in the social care sector. He is a quali?ed social worker and the company's Managing Director. He oversees all aspects of the company and especially its development and continuous... improvement. He spent nine years as Managing Director and shareholder of a private Domiciliary Care Agency (prior to its sale in 2006) which provided Community based care support to a range of service users from older people to children with disabilities. He began his social work career in 1984 with Tameside MBC as a support worker in a children's home for young people with emotional behavioural difficulties. He ended his career in residential care as a Registered Home Manager and went on to manage a team of qualified staff supporting families and young people to look for alternatives to residential care.
