In order to meet the requests and needs of McKeesport residents, County Hauling will adjust its trash and recycling schedules to the citys past pickup routine. Despite County Haulings attempt to transition the city to a two-day schedule, Mayor Michael Cherepko and the companys management have decided that a five-day schedule better suits the McKees... port community. County Hauling has been very responsive in resolving problems with the routes, including missed pickups, but the decision was made to return McKeesport to the schedule our residents are used to, the Mayor said. Cherepko said he is extremely confident that County Hauling will provide an excellent service once these issues are resolved, as the City is in constant communication with the companys ownership and management. The mayor said he anticipates continuing to have the same bumps in the road as the city has with all new haulers over the years as they learn McKeesports geography, especially in areas with alley pickup.
