Corpus Christi Parish

At Corpus Christi, we strive to encourage ongoing planning and evaluation of our liturgies. Among our goals is a continuing effort to make the church attractive and welcoming, improve communication, and keep our Mission Statement in focus. In our last parish survey, the majority of our parishioners agreed that "our parish liturgies are celebrated w... ith reverence and devotion and that our parish leaders are committed to reaching a high quality in our liturgical celebrations." There has been a Jesuit influence that has been a part of Corpus Christi Parish for decades. During the 1980's a Jesuit was in residence and for the past 25 years we have had Jesuits as visiting priests from both nearby Boston College and Pope John XXIII Seminary. An open gathering area at the back of the pews enhances a sense of community. We have a special corner with religious storybooks for young children to read. Parishioners and visitors find Corpus Christi a warm and welcoming parish family. Many parishioners continue the celebration after the liturgy is concluded. The grounds of our church are well maintained and welcoming to anyone who would enjoy a quiet retreat. We have a prayer garden with a bench dedicated to a former Pastoral Associate, Sr. Ann Marie Ralph, SND who faithfully served our parish community.
