Some only need minor work done, like fresh paint and new carpeting. Others, however, need to be completely remodeled from the foundation up! We fix any problem areas, and update the appearance of the house: Bathroom Before we started working, we noticed that the bathroom had some problems. The old tile had been covered by a plastic liner. Typically when tile is covered with a liner it indicates that there is a problem with the tile underneath. Sometimes it is just the coloring, but more often then not the grout or tile itself has cracked and leaks are probable. To make matters worse, the liner had a large hole in it. For these reasons, we decided to completely take out the liner and old tile and re-tile the shower. Here are some pictures of the process: Oddities One of the major oddities in this house was that there had been a vanity, complete with mirror, placed just inside the master bedroom, in a little hallway just inside the door. This was a bit odd, so we decided to change the vanity area into an open shelving unit that could be used for linens or storage.
