With more than 40 emergency or transitional housing settings currently in operation, the company is proud to provide critical services to more than 3,000 individuals every day. At CORE, the company believes everybody deserves a fair chance to get back on their feet and nobody can do it alone. Whether its a mother struggling to find a home and keep her children safe, a father returning to his family after spending years in the criminal justice system, or a runaway teenager in search of stability, the company believes that structured support is the key to transformation. These fundamental beliefs inform everything the company do. Residents at CORE facilities are provided access to job or technical skills training, mentorship, substance abuse treatment, and religious services, and they are treated with dignity and respect at every step of the way. The company also offer behavioral health services, individual case management, and permanent housing placement. Based in Brooklyn, NY, CORE currently operates transitional, emergency, and shelter facilities in New York City and Washington DC, and the company is working to bring the company's compassionate, common-sense approach to more communities in need.
