I am the founder of Cooper Woodworks, a custom design & build studio of fine furniture dedicated to being unique, affordable, and easy to work with. Wether you are an interior designer, architect, or home-owner, I am excited to work with you to elevate your home, office, or commercial space to new heights. Before devoting my full attention to Coope... r Woodworks, I started learning the construction trade. Starting at a young age in a small, family-owned business, building custom homes on San Juan Island, I learned framing and finish carpentry. Here, I learned the importance of balancing the aesthetic and structural integrity of a piece; form & function. After many years growing up and working on San Juan Island, I moved to Seattle with my fiancé where I began working for a small, local, company installing solar power at a residential and industrial scale. I moved within the company there from being a solar panel installer on the roof, to designing the systems we were installing, to being a project manager. This was a great learning experience and helped me to greatly dive into the world of sustainability and renewable resources which plays heavily into the ethics of Cooper Woodworks.
